Club Milestones

 

• 2020 – West Michigan Kayaking Club founded by Brad De Young and Tim Postma.

• 2024 – Completed the 240+ mile Mighty Muskegon River Expedition.

• 2025 – Completed the 86-mile Flat River Expedition.

• 2025 – Jordan River Hike & Kayak Adventure became a signature annual event after a successful inaugural trip.

• 2026 – Became an official sponsor of the Hugh Heward Challenge.

• 2026 – Membership grew to 2,000+ outdoor enthusiasts.

 

🌲 West Michigan Kayaking Club continues to offer challenging paddling, backpacking, hiking, camping, and conservation events throughout Michigan, bringing together adventurers who share a passion for exploring the state’s wild rivers and rugged trails.
