Here you will find a comprehensive list of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula rivers for kayaking. Before paddling rivers in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, please understand that many of these are true wilderness rivers. They are often extremely remote, with limited cell service, few road crossings, long distances between access points, and rapidly changing weather conditions.
