IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION ON CLUB AFFILIATION

West Michigan Kayaking Club would like to clarify that it is a separate and independent organization and is not affiliated in any way with West Michigan Canoe and Kayak Club, which operates its events primarily through the Meetup platform.

West Michigan Kayaking Club is not part of Meetup and does not operate through Meetup in any capacity. Our Club (West Michigan Kayaking Club)communicates and organizes events exclusively through its official website and Facebook presence.

While both organizations contribute positively to Michigan’s paddling community, they are entirely separate entities with different leadership,club, membership structures, and event platforms.
And we have different names.

West Michigan Kayaking Club respects all paddling organizations in the region and acknowledges the value that established clubs bring to the kayaking and canoeing community. The clarification is provided solely to avoid confusion between the two unrelated groups. — in Michigan.
