White River Adventure – White Cloud to Hesperia

West Michigan Kayaking Club

Join the West Michigan Kayaking Club for another adventure on one of West Michigan’s most scenic and underrated rivers—the White River. This will be our second run on this system, paddling the upper section from White Cloud to Hesperia.

This stretch is narrower, faster flowing, and more technical than our previous trips. Expect a true moving-water experience with sweepers, strainers, and possible portages along the way. This is a beautiful but demanding section of river.

* Paddle time: 6–7 hours (may run longer depending on conditions and portages)
* Difficulty: Intermediate / moving water experience recommended
